Brandy Nicks, IMH 12401
As a counselor, it is a deep honor to be able to walk with men, women, and teens through their journey — from sorrow to joy and everything in between. Your story matters, and Brandy would love to enter into it with you.
Brandy is currently a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern working toward Florida licensure. She loves her teen clients, as well as adults, couples, and families. She is passionate about helping people in the areas of self image, depression, anxiety, sexuality, abuse, shame, spirituality, and relationships.
Brandy received a Master of Arts in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary in 2014. Instead of fancy techniques and jargon, Brandy takes a very relational approach to counseling. She also integrates unique tools such as art and writing to help her clients express those emotions that we so often lock away.
When she is not in the counseling room, she loves to work with the high school ladies of First Presbyterian Church Orlando as their High School Coordinator. She also bakes, does graphic design, and hangs out with Mark, her husband of eight years.
Brandy is committed to maintaining strict confidentiality of your questions, concerns, and comments. Your emails along with any other forms of communication remain private and confidential(with the few exceptions mandated by Florida state law concerning abuse and/or threat to harm oneself or someone else).
