Debbie Mauger, M.A. LMHC 8763
Debbie was blessed to spend the first 17 years of her marriage focused on her roles as wife, mother and homemaker. She and her husband Bob have been married for 30 years and have had the joy of raising 4 children. Their daughter and three sons are now all grown and are either attending college or working.
Debbie also volunteered for an organization that ministered to women who found themselves in the midst of a crisis pregnancy. After seven years of volunteering as a client educator, she made the decision to return to school and complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management. From there she went on to pursue a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary.
In 2003, Debbie began her journey as a professional, counseling in private practice. In 2005, Debbie founded Journey’s Counseling Center where she continues to work as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Debbie also enjoys the privilege of being a Licensed Supervisor, working with graduate students and mental health counselor interns.
Debbie’s counseling philosophy begins with approaching her clients with deep respect as they work through issues relative to life and relationship experiences. She walks alongside the individuals, couples, and families who desire personal development and greater health in relationships. Much of her ability to meet others on this journey is a result of her personal experiences of life, death, broken and healed relationships, and all that she has learned about herself and God in the process.
Debbie is committed to maintaining strict confidentiality of your questions, concerns, and comments. Your emails along with any other forms of communication remain private and confidential(with the few exceptions mandated by Florida state law concerning abuse and/or threat to harm oneself or someone else).
