Jane Forrestal, IMH
Jane is an Orlando based Mental Health Counselor with a Masters of Arts in Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and Theology.
Jane strives to create a safe, compassionate, and creative space for individuals to engage their story. She believes that people are wounded in relationship and healed within relationship therefore, she knows the importance of the counselor, client bond.
Jane knows first hand the ache of having a loved one controlled by the disease of addiction and the effect it has on their loved ones. Therefore, Jane focuses in grief counseling whether it is the death of a loved one or the loss of a relationship. She also specializes in working with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, codependency, and self worth. She works to help her clients become more curious and aware which facilitates emotional and spiritual growth.
Jane is the mother of two incredible children, one here on earth and one in Heaven. In her spare time she loves to paint, read, laugh, and spend time outside with her dog, Grace (except in August in Orlando).
A few of her favorite authors are: Dan Allender, Brene Brown, Larry Crabb, Frederick Buechner, Sue Johnson, Henri Nouwen, and any good mystery writer.
