Miranda Bales, M.A. LMHC 12367
Mindy loves people. She loves their stories. And she loves the mystery and beauty of each person’s life. She believes that hope and redemption can be cultivated from every single story of chaos and pain. And her love for play means that this cultivation process can actually become a joyous adventure! Mindy believes her calling in life is to journey with people, as a fellow struggler and pilgrim, on a path of redemption, healing, and wholeness.
One fundamental belief for Mindy- something that impacts all of her work- is that beauty is an integral part of God’s original design for every individual. And she is passionate about bringing this beauty to life not only with clients in the counseling office, but also in her work as a Personal Consultant. In short, Mindy believes that beautiful stories, spaces, and style are mere reflections of the greater beauty found in the human soul!
Mindy is a born and raised Florida girl. She is married to Josh (who’s handsome picture you can find on our home page). She has one beautiful daughter, Daphne Elizabeth, and a fiery-tempered, little Yorkie named Buechner. She loves to create, sew, organize, work with power tools, and read anything that makes her laugh.
In 2004 Mindy received her undergraduate degree in Counseling and then spent several years working as a teacher and business manager before returning to graduate school to pursue a Master of Arts in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary. She joined the Journeys family in 2011, and two years later, was awarded her professional counseling license from the state of Florida.
